TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy slammed the state government for failing to meet the aspirations and expectations of the Telangana people in the last eight years. People got cheated by the TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti), which made false promises during the assembly polls, he said.
Revanth Reddy was speaking after greeting the people on the occasion of the Telangana Formation Day on Thursday.
The Congress party realized the dream of four crore people by forming the Telangana state, he said. Since, coming to power, the ruling TRS government has been looting each and every section of people, he alleged. Telangana protagonists, students, youth, martyrs, and farmers have been created by the government, which also threw the agriculture sector into a deep crisis, Revanth Reddy said on Twitter.
Revanth Reddy pointed out that one Poosala Paramesh, who fought for Telangana, had lost his home guard job and became a street vendor. His repeated pleas to the ruling government for getting back the home guard job have fallen on deaf ears, Revanth Reddy alleged.
