TPCC chief Revanth Reddy is facing non-cooperation from some senior leaders even for an important event such as the upcoming visit of party leader Rahul Gandhi to Telangana.
The state party is targeting to mobilize about 5 lakh people for Rahul Gandhi’s public meeting at Arts College Grounds, Warangal on 6th May.
The TPCC president has completed a tour of the undivided Khammam and Karimnagar districts to make arrangements for the Rythu Sangharshana Sabha meeting which is to be addressed by Rahul Gandhi in Warangal. The undivided Khammam, Karimnagar, and Nalgonda districts are adjacent to Warangal.
Reportedly, former PCC president and present Nalgonda MP Uttam Kumar and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat did not show any interest in supporting the PCC chief to hold preparatory meetings for the big event.
On Wednesday, Uttam Kumar conducted a virtual meeting with Congress party leaders and activists of the Nalgonda parliamentary constituency to review the arrangements for the Warangal meeting.
He said a vehicle rally will be started from his residence in Huzurnagar on 6th May for the Warangal meeting. Surprisingly, Komatireddy Venkat clearly told that he will not participate in the preparatory meeting.
