Punjab Elections 2022: ‘Kejriwal Can Be Found At Home Of Terrorist’ Says Rahul Gandhi

With just four days left for the Punjab assembly elections, accusations are flying fast. In an elections rally held at Barnala, Rahul Gandhi hit out at AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) convener Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of association with terrorists.

On Tuesday, during his rally in Barnala, Rahul Gandhi said, “Punjab state needs a stable government. I want you to remember that no matter what happens, you will not find any Congress leader at the house of terrorists, but the biggest leader of  Jhaadu can be found at the terrorist’s house”.

The comments made by Rahul Gandhi points towards Kejriwal’s overnight stay at the house of a former Khalistani terrorist in Moga, Punjab during the 2017 state elections.

Congress leader further said, “Those who are making promises to you and saying ‘Ek baar mauka do’, they will destroy Punjab. remember my words, Punjab will burn.”

Rahul Gandhi also spoke about Punjab being a border state and the security concerns about the state. He urged the people to vote his party back to power in the state, by arguing that only Congress understands the sensitivity of the region.

Elections are going to be held for the 117-member Punjab Assembly on 20th February.
