KCR in Delhi, ‘Bharat Yatra’ from Sunday

CM K. Chandrashekar Rao reached Delhi on Friday by a special flight, The first leg of his tour of various states until 30th May is going to play a key role in national politics.

KCR will talk to leaders of regional parties and talks about fielding a joint Opposition candidate against the NDA for the Presidental election which is scheduled in July. The NDA is confident of securing an easy victory with the support of the parties like BJD and YSRCP.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by TRS Rajya Sabha member J. Santosh Kumar, Lok Sabha member Nama Nageswara Rao, roads minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, and former MP B. Vinod Kumar, among others.

According to the party sources, KCR would stay at home on Friday and Saturday and visit Chandigarh on May 22 to give exgratia of 3 lakh INR to the families of each of the 600 farmers of Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh who died during the agitation against the Centre’s now-withdrawn farm laws.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are expected to be at the event. Later K. Chandrasekhar Rao will visit Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, and Bihar.
