As Telangana State turns eight on June 2 and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao completes his eight years in office, the TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) government has readied a 172-page progress report highlighting the development programs and welfare schemes it has implemented for the benefit of the people.
According to the report, a large number of the population has benefited from schemes such as Rythu Bima, Rythu Bandhu, Kalyana Laxmi, Aasara pensions, Shaadi Mubarak, etc.
Grand arrangements are being made at Public Gardens to celebrate the eighth anniversary of the Telangana formation on Thursday. On this day, CM KCR will release the eight-year progress report of the state while the ministers will release district progress reports in the respective district.
The TS-iPASS online industrial approval policy has helped the state government attract investments worth 2,34,836 crore INR with an employment generation of 16.56 lakh jobs in 19,837 industries/units.
To date, 15747 units with a total investment of 1,33,325 crore INR have become operational and they provided jobs to 9,95,787 persons, the report claimed.
