Sunita Kejriwal, wife of AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) chief Arvind Kejriwal, will campaign in Punjab state ahead of state assembly polls.
On Thursday, the party said, On 11th February, Sunita Kejriwal will attend AAP chief ministerial face Bhagwant Mann’s ‘Jansabha’ in the Dhurl area of Sangrur district.
Arvind Kejriwal’s daughter will also be attending the event along with the mother and sister of Bhagwant Mann.
Sunita Kejriwal took to Twitter to inform about her visit to Punjab and she said, “Tomorrow, I am going to Dhuri with my daughter to ask for votes for my brother-in-law, Bhagwant Mann”.
Bhagwant Mann was named the AAP’s CM candidate on 18th January after more than 93% of people voted for him in a phone line survey.
Bhagwant Mann will contest from the Dhuri Assembly constituency for the upcoming Punjab election. This constituency is in the Sangrur district where Bhagwant Mann is elected as an MP.
The Punjab Assembly Election 2022 will be held in a single phase for 117 seats on 14th February and the counting of votes will take place on 10th March.
